About us

Created in 2016 by Jean-Jacques Micheli and Zahara Mukagikwiye, Mikemuka is a Fine Art printing workshop specializing in black and white prints based on carbon inks, but also presents alternatives to conventional prints, such as sublimation on fabric and the modeling of relief images.

With a 40-year experience in professional photo printing, Jean-Jacques Micheli created in 1982 the JJ Micheli lab and worked in close collaboration with many Belgian and foreign artists. Her approach to making a print is both the quality of her work and listening to the photographer or artist to reproduce the sensitivity and spirit of her work.

Zahara has been active in the field of Art Photography for 17 years.

Known to gallery owners, she accompanies artists in the realization of their exhibitions, providing advice and contacts especially during the openings.
